Researching the Biome in which we exist within - โ€˜Temperate Forest Biomeโ€™ (Earth Day) ๐ŸŒ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿฆ†


In celebration of global ‘Earth Day’ ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿซถ The children conducted their own research into the biome we exist within, the ‘temperate forest biome’. By investigating its key features, including its flora and fauna, year 4 were able to deduce how best to care and protect it. ๐ŸŒณ๐Ÿฆ†

Exploring alternate climate conditions in countries that exist in different biomes. ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿฅตโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒฆ๏ธ


year 4 thoroughly enjoyed exploring data taken from both temperature and climate graphs. The children progressed by analysing which biomes those places existed within, with further research into flora, fauna and human features within it. ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿฅต๐ŸŒฆ๏ธโ˜€๏ธ

Observing how โ€˜climateโ€™ is effected by the position of the Earth in relation to the sun. ๐ŸŒโ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ


Year 4 have been observing how climate is effected by the position of the Earth in relation to the sun. We furthered our geographical awareness by investigating ‘climate zones’, exploring their specific individual features. ๐ŸŒโ˜€๏ธ๐ŸŒช๏ธ๐Ÿ’จ
