_{Year 4 are truly excelling, composing their own melodies using our chosen woodwind instrument. The children are preparing for their upcoming performance at St Gabriels, in which they will join other primary schools within the borough to showcase their true musical talents. 🪈🎶}

^{Oh how we are blessed with a musical flare! Utilising their knowledge of musical notation, Year 4 were able to follow a pre-composed piece using A, B and G on their woodwind instrument of study, the recorder. 🪈🎶👂} 

Year 4 have throughly enjoyed listening and appraising a number of local artists. The children have accurately responded to instrumental sounds, as well as intriguing ostinato patterns to form their own opinions on a range of different musical genres. 👂🎶
