All things Christmas 🎅
We created potions today 🧪 using forest flora and fauna and our “Pumpkin Cafe” was full of sensory delights. 🍲
🐜🪱 Solomon Brown specialised in natural history and lectured on the habits of insects. We study insects in our forest school in his honour. #BlackHistoryMonth
💙Rain will never stop play and we embrace the change of season.
💚We teach our children how to keep warm (lots of dance moves and games) and that we absolutely can still have fun whatever the weather~ what a valuable life lesson for us all!
💙As always, we follow the lead of the child and they show us the way.
💚Although some children may initially show some reluctance to embrace the conditions, they soon lose their inhibitions and get stuck in. Resilience is a key life skill that we aim to instill in our pupils.
💙We remember our ethos~ there is no such thing as the wrong weather... just the wrong clothes. ☔️
