My Name is Lilly-Rose. I play for Westbury Flames Football Club. I go to Scorpion Jiu Jitsu Bury Martial Arts Academy. I love these sports they make me very happy and proud.


Jamie-Lea does competitive freestyle dance with her dance school DNA, training 4 days a week. She does a fast dance and slow dance and also pairs dancing up a category in under 12s. Jamie-Lea has to do a set routine on the floor for judges. Jamie-Lea is in under 10s and is now making finals on a regular bases against 40 plus dancers in her section.
Cora-May does competitive freestyle dance with dance school DNA, training 3 times a week. Cora-May is a under 6 starter and has made all her finials coming 1st and 2nd in every competition.
Cora-May has a set routine for a fast dance and slow dance and also fast dance pairs with her partner.
Patrick completed a charity event on Saturday with his cycling club 360 Cycling and has raised nearly £3.5k for Bury Hospice! They cycled 15 laps of the hill at Holly Mount and he is receiving a medal at training on Wednesday!!


Aria swims twice a week at Ramsbottom Rascals Swimming Club and participated in her first swimming gala in January 2022. In all three races she won a medal!!
Backstroke - Gold Medal 1st place
Front Crawl - Silver Medal 2nd place
Breaststroke - Silver Medal 2nd place
Elsie Jonas - Year 1
At the young age of 5 years old Elsie achieved her 50m Swimming Badge!!


George plays for Radcliffe Borough under 10’s and plays in defence. He loves playing football and likes to be a team player. This season he was chosen by his team players for the “Most Consistent Player” 2022/2022.
George is a member of Bury Athletics Club. He has been a member for 3 years and enjoys the training and competitions. His favourite field event are sprints and long jump. This year he was chosen to represent Greater Manchester U11’s indoor sports hall regional finals. The boys came 2nd place. George has made many new friends at the club. Toby plays for Westbury football team. He enjoys training and loves playing football matches. Toby's team have recently won their cup final and he is a proud owner of a gold trophy. Toby passed trails for Bury inter league football and has played a few matches.Hi my name is Poppy Travis. I play football for Westbury and Manchester City. I’ve scored over 100 goals this season and my favourite position is right wing. I also enjoy doing different celebrations when I score.
- Charlie's team winning the Jogobola Cup for football.
- Harrison's Waterpolo Team winning the NW under 11s festival.
- Write up in the Bury Times from Cheshire league athletics competition - Harrison smashed his PB on the 600m.
- Athletics competition at Trafford AC Harrison got a couple of silver medals for 600m 150m and 75m.
- Harrison at Blackburn Rovers with his football interleague team.
- Medals from Harrison's swimming competitions where he got a county time for 50m front crawl and can go to the County Championships next year.
Fran has been playing football for a year and plays on Westbury Flames (a year 2 team). She very in to her sports loves football , basketball , cricket and much more!
Finlay Hutchinson’s recent sporting successes outside school.
He has been awarded a bronze medal in the floor at his very first gymnastics competition. He had to perform cartwheels and handstands amongst other moves, as well as a flat back handstand on the vault. He has also just finished his first season playing competitive football. He has scored numerous goals in all but one of his matches.
