Hockey - session 2- Our focus for today’s session was heavily focused upon our control and accuracy. Through a series of fast paced mini games, we practised our precision upon retrieval and shooting. 🏑
Hockey 🥅- Session 1. Year 4 explored the key rules of the games, as well as practising their ability to accurately hold and control a hockey stick in a series of drills and mini games.
Our concluding session 🏀 Year 4 showcased their ever developing basketball abilities in a series of competitive mini games. The children were able to display their attacking and defending skills in a sequence of fast paced match scenarios.
Year 4 furthered their attacking and defending skills in a range of mini games which tested both their knowledge of the sport 🏀 and their skill level.
Attacking and defending - lesson 1
Year 4 have been immersed in all things basketball. We recapped the ruling of the game, whilst closely studying our ability to both attack and defend in order to retrieve the ball. Through a series of fast paced games, we were able to practice both sets of skills.
