History

We have been learning about what vehicles were like in the past. Follow the lesson plan and use the PowerPoint to help you design your own transportation that could be used in the future. 

Religion

We and the world we live in is always changing.  Every year the seasons bring new growth and change. Talk about the signs of the different seasons, how each one has its own beauty and how it is necessary for growth that there are changes. Like the seasons of the year we too change and grow. Think and talk about how different you are from when you first started school and the ways in which you have changed.  

1. What difference do you notice between winter and spring?
2. Why do you think the seasons change?
3. How do you think you have changed?
4. What can you do now that you were not able to before you came to school?
5. How are you better at sharing and being kind now?

Draw a picture of your favourite season and say why you have chosen that season.

Art

Create a Kandinsky inspired piece of Art. 

Ongoing Project - Design and Technology

Design and make a vehicle using what you have in the house. It could be cereal boxes and bottle tops, Lego, play-dough. Be creative. Draw your vehicle first in your book and add labels showing the different parts and materials you will use. Then try to recreate your vision. 
This does not need to be completed this week, creativity takes time!

Wednesday 25th March is The Feast of the Annunciation of Mary. This feast celebrates the special time Angel Gabriel visited Mary to give her the Good News that she was going to have a baby, Jesus, the Son of God.
