Extreme Reading Challenge

 

Are you an Extreme Reader?

 

Every week, 2 children from Year 5 and Year 6 will be selected to become an extreme reader! Each child must select a book and begin reading it in an extreme place (parents you can join in as well!) Think about different, fun, exciting and SAFE places to enjoy a book! We would love it if you could take a picture and send it in to school either printed or emailed to kpegg@guardianangelsrcp.com and a winner from each class will be chosen by Mrs Davies and Mr Arthur at the end of the challenge.

Once your child has finished reading their book, they are to complete one of the following tasks:

• To redesign the front cover with a short explanation of their chosen design.
• To write a book review.
• To write a character description.
• To write a summary of the book.
• To rewrite or recreate a section of the story.

 

We can’t wait to see our extreme readers in action!
