Understanding dogs is an important skill for children. Whether you own a pooch, have friends with dogs, or just meet them out and about, it’s crucial to know how to behave safely around them.

We welcome the Dogs Trust into school, to complete their ‘Be Dog Smart’ programme focusing on Safe Behaviour Around Dogs. This programme aims to harness safe, loving relationships between children and the dogs they share their lives and social settings with.

The Dogs Trust led an assembly for the whole school, then children in years 3, 4 and 5 completed a workshop.
