Advancing from our fantasy narrative, Year 4 are using their new found knowledge of the mechanics behind magic, to create a set of instructions on how to perform a magic trick of their choice. The children explored the necessity of sequencing and chronology, in order to follow instructions appropriately. ✍️✨✏️🪄

An introduction to our new fictional narrative - ‘Leon and the Place Between’ 👦🏼🧞♂️🪄✨🎩
Year 4 have been visited by the ‘Amazing Alocazam’, from a land far far away, who performed a range of different mystical tricks, ranging from vanishing thumbs, mind reading and of course the infamous disappearing card phenomenon. The children were able to question the magician of the ‘Place Between’, in preparation for our fictional narrative ‘Leon and the Place Between’. The children then formed their own predictions, using evidence based reasoning. ✍️📒
