Year 4 have excelled in their World faith topic in religion, exploring beliefs of those across the globe. From experiencing authentic worship through meditation in Hinduism, to embracing the celebrations of both Bar and Bat Mitzvah’s in Judaism, we have embraced it all! 🕉️🛕🛶🪷
Exploring the way in which we can ‘live in the light’ of the Lord ✝️🙏🏼🕯️

God is light, full of love’ John 1:5-7
year 4 have been exploring ways in which we can ‘live in the light’ of the lord. We studied key processes in which we can show this in our daily lives, linking such ideas to key scripture that advises us of both ‘what’ and ‘how’ this can be demonstrated. ✝️🕯️☀️
Exploring the sacrament of Confirmation. ✝️🙏🏼

Year 4 have been exploring the sacrament of reconciliation, investigating what happens and the service as well as the significant of the sacrament itself. We studied the chronology of events and well as key imagery and historic symbolism. ✝️🕯️⛪️
Memorial of the Holy Guardian Angels. 👼🏼✝️

Year 4 studied the three Archangels today, in light of our feast day. We explored their gifts from God as well as their unique intensional abilities. We finished the session writing our own prayers and intentions to our own guardian angels. 👼🏼✝️🙏🏼

Wednesday Word ✝️ our WW this week was ‘goodness’, exploring how we can spread God’s goodness through our words and deeds in and outside of our school.

‘But he who is generous to the needy honours him’ Proverbs 14:31 ✝️ Year 4 led a heartwarming prayer and liturgy this week, reflective of the importance of thinking and acting ‘generously’. we looked deeper into the biblical parable ‘The Widow’s gift’ and what it truly means to be ‘generous’.

Year 4 have been studying the attributes St Joseph had in being Jesus’ Earthly father figure. We then analysed the importance of such attributes. ✝️
