Look at the PowerPoint pictures and think about the local community heroes we have in our community.  Draw a picture of your chosen hero and write one or two sentences about them.

For example, you could choose a firefighter.

Firefighters are heroes because they are brave.  They fight fires and save lives.

Or a Police Officer.

Police Officers are heroes because they protect us from harm and keep our community safe.  I know that if I am in trouble I can turn to a Police Officer and I will be safe.
