WONDER

As it's drawing to the end our first half term in Year 5, we're finishing off our amazing first topic based on the book 'Wonder'!

We have wrote letters to Mrs Davies to persuade her to help us deepen our learning and really bring the topic to life, by granting us a 'last day pyjama movie morning' watching the film!!!

Children may wear whatever they feel comfortable in-loungewear/PJs/dressing growns/blankets/teddies and bring drinks and snacks if they wish!

Trip to the Allotment - Apple Pressing Workshop - Friday 4th October 

• Children are to wear old coloured clothes (for Harvest assembly!) but also appropriate gardening-no Sunday best please!! A change may be needed for the afternoon if it’s wet! 
• Wellies or shoes and a winter coat please! 
• We will leave school at 10am, and collect apples in the allotments.  We will return for lunch then go back for an afternoon workshop of apple pressing.
• If children bring a water bottle, they can take the juice they make to drink.

Let's hope the weather is kind to us!!
