Theme 4: Rights and Responsibilities

L.F - I can identify barriers to happiness and know how to overcome them.

We talked about what makes us happy and what real happiness is. We then wrote a poem about happiness.

Then we conducted a survey to find out what makes us happy and shared our results.

Finally we wrote our own song to make others happy.

Theme 3: Solidarity and the Common Good

L.F - I listen to you with my ears, eyes, mind and heart.

What is solidarity? What does it mean?

We researched these questions online and shared our ideas, Then we produced posters and poems to share what we had learnt.

Theme 2: Family and Community

L.F - What makes a community?

First we talked about what a community is and went for a walk to identify communities in our local area.

Then in groups, we researched a community we know and shared what we found out in a poster.

Theme 1: Dignity of the Human Person

L.F - We are all equal in God's eyes and loved.

We looked at three quotes, which all told us something important about how God sees and values each person he has created.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.

We then designed posters in groups, to illustrate our favourite quotes.
