The relics will be received into Salford Cathedral on Friday 25th September at 5.30 pm. A list of the services throughout the weekend is in the Parish newsletter.

Listed below are the clubs available to children this half-term. Some clubs may have limited numbers, but these will be run on a rolling programme so that interested children will have an opportunity to attend. Please note that with football and netball clubs, there will be an element of selection. For those wishing to take part in the recorder club, recorders will be available to buy from school at £3.00 each.

More information will be sent by letter to the relevant classes about each activity, including start dates. Parents are asked to make sure that when a child takes a place at a club that they attend regularly and for the full period of time.
Reminder to parents from Nursery
Parents are asked to drop off and collect children from the Nursery by using the path and gate leading to the Nursery and Reception playground. Please do not walk across the main playground.
Welcome evening at St Gabriel’s RC High School
An invitation has been received from St Gabriel’s for Year 5 and Year 6 pupils and parents to attend a welcome evening on Tuesday 29th September from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. There will be an opportunity to experience some taster lessons and meet Year 7 form tutors and other staff at the school.
Privacy notice
In previous years we have issued parents with a copy of a ‘Fair Processing Notice’ along with the ‘Student Update Forms’. The ‘Student Update Forms’ will be issued shortly and we would ask parents to check the data carefully and where necessary make amendments. The ‘Fair Processing Notice’ has changed now to a ‘Privacy Notice’ as required by the Data Protection Act 1998. Rather than issue copies to everyone, there will be a copy displayed on the notice board outside the office for parents to view at their leisure.
Yoga class
 The Yoga class starts tomorrow from 9.00 am to 10.00 am in the parish centre. All you will need is a mat or thick towel and £4.00 which will include the cost of coffee and biscuits. So why not go along and give it a try. All ages welcome. |
