Images of children are not labelled with their names.
Images will only be of groups of children and no close up pictures will be displayed.
Internet Safety Rules
The pupils will take account of the following when using the Internet:
No pupil will use the Internet without the permission of a member of staff.
Pupils will only use the Internet for the activities set by the School.
Pupils will only send E-mail to people who have been approved by their teachers.
Pupils will not send unsuitable messages by E-mail. Any messages they send will be polite, responsible and “signed” with their name.
Pupils will not send anonymous messages.
Pupils will only take part in News Groups or similar forums that have been approved by the School.
Pupils will not publish or in anyway disclose their address, phone number or photograph.
Pupils will not use the School’s Internet equipment to arrange to meet people they have found through Internet activities.
Pupils will respect the privacy of other Internet users.
Pupils will not infringe copyright, nor will they claim material found on the Internet is their own.
Pupils will not deliberately seek out inappropriate materials.
Pupils will report any unsuitable material they encounter to a member of staff so that steps can be taken to block that material from others.
Pupils will report any unpleasant materials or messages sent to them. The information will be treated with tact, and in confidence, by the staff in order to help protect the pupil and others in the future.
Pupils will not attempt to bypass any security systems set-up by the School to block Internet sites.
Pupils will not use School resources to subscribe to any goods or services, nor buy or sell over the Internet.
Pupils will not download software from the Internet, unless directed to do so by a member of staff.
Pupils will not bring floppy discs, CDs, memory sticks or other electronic media from outside School unless directed by a member of staff.
