At Guardian Angels' After School Club we aim to provide a warm and caring environment in which children can play happily and safely.
A wide variety of activities and play opportunities are provided, both indoors and outdoors, under the friendly supervision of our qualified and experienced staff.

ADMISSIONS
We welcome all children from Guardian Angels School from Nursery to Year 6. However as places are limited we may have to consider new applications for places in order of priority.
PAYMENT Fees are £3.00 for a half session and £5.00 for a full session. Booking is really easy, just call in to see a member of staff or ask Mrs Cunliffe. Booking forms for next term need to be handed in also please make sure that fees are paid up-to-date.

ARRIVALS AND COLLECTIONS
Children from Nursery Class to Year 3 are collected from their classrooms at 3pm and are escorted to the hall for registration.
The junior children make their own way there.
At home time, all children must be collected by an authorised person.
We ask that the under eights are collected by a responsible person over the age of 14.
FOOD
Nutritious snacks are served from 3 pm and special dietary needs are catered for where possible. The children are provided with as many drinks as they require.
ACTIVITIES
We offer a wide range of activities to suit all ages both indoors and outside. The activities include arts and crafts, table top games, such as Connect 4 and board games. We have three televisions on which the children can play with games consoles. We have two table tennis tables and a wide range of outdoor equipment, including tennis nets and basketball posts. We plan all our activities on a weekly basis and Staff fully participate in all actiivites offered.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
Our Health and Safety Policy complies with the guidelines given in the 'Ofsted Handbook', and in line with those of the school.
SMOKING
Smoking is not allowed on the premises at any time.
INSURANCE
The Club has full public liability insurance.
MEDICINES In line with the school's policy, the Club will not normally undertake the administration of medicines except for asthma and in exceptional cirucmstances, and then only with written permission from the parents.
ACCIDENTS Any accidents are dealt with immediately by our experienced staff and all details are recorded in the accident book for parents to examine and sign.
BEHAVIOUR We adhere to the school's policy on behaviour and use positive strategies, such as reward and praise for good behaviour. Children are supported and encouraged to set their own limits wherever possible and in developing a sense of right and wrong. Sanctions used to limit unacceptable behaviour are fair, appropriate to the child's age and level of development, and are fully explained to the child.
